Our FdSc in Cyber Security programme has been designed and developed in response to local, national and international businesses alongside the Newcastle College Group to shorten the skills gap of future qualified professionals in this area.

This 2 year (240 credit) FdSc Programme is delivered through flexible on-line learning, activities, resources & assessments to enable you to successfully complete your course. NCG on-line also enables you and your tutors to actively take part in real time conversations, listen to and view recorded lectures and take part in live question and answer sessions.
You will be supported throughout your learner journey by a dedicated Personnel On-Line Lecturer and will have the opportunity to regularly interact with fellow students.

You will not need to travel to attend any classes; studying is carried out entirely on-line and your programme of study can fit around your work and personal commitments. Whilst it is not an essential requirement of our on-line courses, we do include 3 residential events per year.

This course is aimed at individuals who wish to obtain a professionally relevant degree which also includes professional IT qualifications, it is also ideal for those learners who don’t want to attend regular classes or give up their current job to go back to College or University. The course is also an ideal opportunity for individuals who are currently working in IT related role but who wish to seek a qualification and accreditation for the work they already do.
