This Level 4 award is the element of your marketing qualification which focuses on enhancing customer experience. It recognises how deeper knowledge of customer requirements within different contexts can allow you to enhance that experience and provides the skills and understanding to assess customer expectations in context.

As a result, you will be able to develop and deliver activities that meet those expectations.

The module introduces customer experience models and highlights how to establish effective monitoring and measurement techniques that ultimately enable organisations to improve customer experience.

Unit 1: Customer context

  • Understand the range of different contexts across which marketers operate (15%).
  • Understand the importance of customer expectations (15%).

Unit 2: Customer experience

  • Understand the different dimensions of customer experience (20%).
  • Deliver activities that enhance customer experience (20%).

Unit 3: Measuring and monitoring

  • Know how to monitor and measure customer experience in context (15%).
  • Use metrics to improve future customer experience (15%).

How does Distance Learning work with NCG direct?

The assessment will require submission of a 12- page assignment based on a given scenario and an organisation of choice. The assignment is broken down into three tasks.

CIM Level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing (NCG Direct)

 

Careers in Marketing companies or employers who focus on customer experience.
 

One or more of the following is required to gain entry to this qualification:

  • CIM Level 3 Introductory or Foundation Certificate in Marketing qualification.
  • Any relevant Level 3 qualification.
  • Any UK degree or international equivalent.
  • International Baccalaureate (equivalent to NQF Level 3 and above)
  • Professional practice (suggested one year in a marketing role) plus diagnostic assessment on to Level 4.
  • If English isn’t your first language, you will also need to demonstrate you’ve achieved one of the following English language qualifications within the last two years:
  • IELTS Academic Module with an overall score of 6.5 (each component pass mark must be 6.0 or above).
  • Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English grade B or above.
  • ILM will consider other equivalent alternatives.

You must register with CIM prior to starting your induction failure to do so will result in you having to begin on the following cohort.

Cohorts are January, April, June and September

You will also need to book your exam and assessments upon your induction week so please bring along your credit/debit card.
