David Moore

Curriculum Leader (Law)

David is responsible for the development and management of the Legal provision within the newcastle College Buisness Academy. These programmes include the LLB (Hons) in Law & Practice, CILEx Level 3 Certificate and Professional Diploma in Law and Practice and CILEx Level 6 Professional Higher Diploma in Law and Practice.

David studied Law and Criminology as an undergraduate and holds a Master’s Degree in Business and a PGCE in Business Education. Combined with lecturing experience across both Business and Law subject areas.

David is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a Member of the Institute of Leadership and Management and is presently completing a Doctorate in Education.

Will Litchfield

Curriculum Leader (Online AAT)

​I am a professionally qualified accountant with the Association of Accounting Technicians and hold further qualifications in Education and Learning (Fda) and Business Management (BA).

I was previously an Accountancy and Finance Programme Leader/Lecturer with extensive experience of delivering modules including Financial Performance, Personal Tax, Financial Statements and Budgeting, all levels of AAT – specialising in level 4 – and finance modules at undergraduate degree level.

I have responsibility for the Professional Accountancy Programmes (AAT and CIMA), the FdA Professional Accounting Practice and the finance modules in the Business and Management at FdA and BA. My role involves the development and design of these online courses


Tracy Flanagan

Curriculum leader (HE)

Tracy is a lecturer, programme and curriculum leader in Business Management at Newcastle College Business Academy. She joined in 2008 and graduated with a MA in lifelong learning at Newcastle College. She holds a BA (Hons) in Business, Management and Organisations from Sheffield University, and completed her PGCE at Sunderland University. Tracy’s research interests include, blended learning, knowledge transfer and innovation. She is also a member off the CIM (Chartered Institute of Management)

Richard Turner

Curriculum Leader

I am a creative and innovative programme leader who combines a passion for teaching with a desire to make learning more accessible for all potential learners. My role involves designing and developing e-learning content, designing innovative online courses and programmes and developing and growing the provision.

Previously I worked for four years as a Business and Management lecturer on undergraduate degree programmes and have lectured on modules such as HRM, Management of Business Organisations, Leadership Principles and Business Strategy and Change. I currently hold a BA (Hons) in Business Management and will soon be working towards a Masters Degree in Education.

I have over 10 years’ experience in a business setting, working in a variety of organisations across the globe including companies in Australia and a role working for the New Zealand Government and in my spare time I enjoy playing sports and travelling.
