I have responsibility for the Professional Accountancy Programmes (AAT and CIMA), the FdA Professional Accounting Practice and the Finance Modules in the Business and Management FdAs and BA. My role involves the development and design of these online courses.

I am a professionally qualified accountant with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants with fifteen years’ experience working in financial and management accounting for various institutions in the City of London. After the birth of my two daughters I trained as Secondary Maths teacher before returning to the North East where I established a non-profit making organisation to provide before and after school child care at my daughters' First School. Before joining NCG Direct, I lectured for over six years on various finance programmes, and was course leader for the AAT, at both Tyne Metropolitan and Newcastle Colleges, enabling me to combine my passion for both accountancy and teaching.
